Hello,
Whenever a Pastor starts to express thankfulness for the labors of God’s people he is at risk of failing to mention someone. Because of this risk we are often hesitant to publicly say thank you. I think it is time to take that risk and say thank you.
Thank you for teaching your class the unsearchable riches of God’s word. Thank you for cleaning and organizing so we can have a nice place to worship and fellowship. Thank you for the yard work that keeps our grounds attractive and inviting. Thank you for each visit and phone call you make to encourage the lonely. Thank you for your friendly hello that helps each visitor to feel welcome and included. Thank you for your work in our music services, this allows us to worship the Lord in song. Thank you for giving up your vacation in order to take our kids to church camp so they can have more chances to be saved. Thank you for participating in our visitation program as part of our church outreach. Thank you for your faithfulness in attendance and giving.
As your pastor let me say thank you for all of the things you do out of a heart of love for the Lord and His work.
